One plate of really good food. Why is this my better than ever meal prep?
Offering meal prep never appealed to me until I figure out a way to make it different. There are three main reasons why I believe, meal prep as we usually see it, could be greatly improved:
- lack of customization
- Lack of attention to the variety of the meals
- Pollutants in the food and containers
The lack of customization critique is pretty straightforward. No two individuals have the same nutritional needs. You may be a growing athlete while my other customer could be a new mother or a lively elderly woman. My point is: the meal prep must be customizable in term of its nutritional value. For this, I have created an in depth questionnaire that allows me to get to know you and your needs. This is the essential first step that differentiate my approach to meal prep from others.
The variety of the meals critique stems from the lack of imagination I have seen in some meal prep services. The menu seem a bit redundant. I love simplicity and I can do simple but I want to pay attention to each and every meal as to not sacrifice the opportunity for the fins gourmets to enjoy imaginative and flavorful healthy recipes. Again, we circle back to customization and giving you the opportunity to define your preferences.
This is why my meal prep is 100% customizable in all its aspects. From what your nutritional needs are to your preferred macro goals and from your dietary restrictions (GF, SOS, Etc.) to your favorite cuisine and ingredients.
